AION is a free-to-play MMORPG published by Gameforge in Europe. The Korean MMORPG developed by NCSoft has a really famous set of winter and Christmas events that happen every year.

Once again, Aion is getting a bunch of events, holiday exclusives, and more in the next couple of months. Players are very excited for the towns to be filled with holiday spirit. Santa Shugo and his helpers have prepared plenty of gifts for the players to open. The Solorious Festival brings sparkling trees, gingerbread, and plenty of other decorations to the capitals. With this festival comes a special guest, the Buff Snowman. This event snowman brings a cool chest that contains a special buff as well as +200% Crafting or a +20% Drop.

During the festival, players will be able to play Lucky Dice! With this mini-game, they can score unique limited items and everyone can take part in it. The same goes with the Shugo Game and Solorious Lottery mini-games. The snowflake opening event is also bound to arrive which is one of the most popular events every year. Such seasonal activities on Aion really add a lot to the whole experience, although a few claim them to be slightly P2W.

Coming along with this are boosts. The schedule for all the boosts are as goes:

    EP BoostsAdvent Sundays (27/11, 4/12, 11/12, 18/12): +70%
    21/12 to 28/12: +70%
    28/12 to 4/1: +50%
    Other Boosts:23/11 to 30/11: +50% Drop, 30/11 to 7/12: +50% AP, 7/12 to 14/12: -50% AP loss, 14/12 to 21/12: +50% Crafting, 21/12 to 28/12: +50% Kinah and 28/12 to 4/1: +50% Crafting.

An annual PvP event is being held from 21/12 to 28/12. The event will grant many rewards to the players that are able to come on top. More victories equal more prizes. Be sure to start playing this game before you miss all these great seasonal changes.
