Just a few weeks ago, Unisoft canceled Live Epic Mercenary event. Much like the first time, this first planned in-game live event for Assassin’ s Creed Odyssey, has been canceled once again seemingly due to technical issues. According to the official announcement on the Twitter account, there’ s been trouble in tracking down the mercenary in question, Damais the Indifferent.The game developer promises that they are now working towards a solution to address an issue that prevents the mercenary live events from appearing. Next week will see (assuming all goes to plan) the arrival of a second Epic Ship contract where the Korinthians, inventors of the trireme, will soon send a ship called "The Tyrant" on its maiden voyage and the ship is rumored to redefine naval warfare for Sparta.

Just two weeks before, After undergoing unspecified technical difficulties, Ubisoft was forced to cancel the first of the “Elite Mercenary” limited-time events in Assassin’ s Creed Odyssey. The event was supposed to go live two weeks before and would have allowed players to embark on rare quests and hunt for rare loot. At the time, Ubisoft was unable to find a solution due to server problems saying that the event will be canceled for the time being. In the developer’ s announcement via Twitter, Ubisoft revealed that Damias “was intimidated by the idea of facing the misthios. He’ ll give you a fair fight as soon as we track him down.” Then a week later, Unisoft released Black Wind Epic Ship event as planned, a time limited bounty quest. It requires players to destroy the Black Wind, a dangerous pirate vessel. You can check the video bellow for details about it. If you succeed, you’ ll get experience and gold, while also securing some Orichalcum. At the beginning, we all thought that it is a start for the upcoming live event. However, we don’t expect the live events will be canceled for the second time. Now all we can expected is that the live event can successfully go on in the next week. The game will be called Assassin’ s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice and will be heading to Kickstarter to launch its campaign this November. Brotherhood of Venice will feature cooperative tactical gameplay that will put the focus on stealth mechanics. Players are tasked to establish a headquarters for a team of assassins set in 1509 at the height of the Italian Renaissance.
