Apex Legends Mobile Beta

Along with the upsurge of battle royale games, Respawn developed Apex Legends for PC, PS4, and Xbox gamers in early 2019. And in 2021, the developer wants to bring the PC version to the mobile device!
Creative director Chad Grenier announced the news today in a post on the official Apex Legends Blog. “Beginning later this month, we're kicking off the first regional beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile. This is a huge moment for our team. Two years ago we changed the landscape of the battle royale genre, and now we’re aiming to do it again on mobile.”
Much like its big brother, Apex Legends Mobile is a free-to-play game with its own battle passes, cosmetics, and other premium items that are separate from those found in the standard game. Yes, that seems to mean mobile-exclusive skins will be a thing, much like in Call of Duty Mobile. And, as you might have guessed, Apex Legends Mobile will not support cross-play with the console and PC versions.
These kinds of mobile-exclusive spinoffs are becoming increasingly popular for big multiplayer games. Riot recently launched Wild Rift, a smartphone take on League of Legends, while Psyonix is doing something similar with Rocket League Sideswipe. PUBG Mobile, meanwhile, remains one of the most popular games in the world, recently surpassing 1 billion downloads. The main version of Apex Legends just hit a new milestone of 100 million players, and last month, the game expanded to the Nintendo Switch.
The game is expected to arrive in FY2022, which begins in April of 2021. Respawn announced closed beta tests will begin in stages starting later in spring 2021, so we're probably looking at a fall or winter release date.
How to register for Apex Legends Mobile beta: The first tests begin “Spring 2021”, and will only be available on Android devices. Respawn said: “As we continue with testing, we’ll expand the size of these tests, add new regions, and implement iOS support. When we’re ready to go broader, we’ll launch a page that allows you to pre-register for the game and sign up for news about the betas.”
