Fortnite is no stranger to new in-game events. According to the latest v8.50 update, there will soon be many new in-game events in Fortnite, especially a new Nexus' event, an event that will supposedly take place at Loot Lake. In this article, Mmocs.com will be talking about what will be happening at Loot Lake and walking you through all the latest details on this Nexus event and talk about what will be happening at Loot Lake.
What’s is Fortnite Nixus Event?
Thanks to dataminers/leakers Lucas7yoshi_ and FortTory, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect during the upcoming Fortnite Nexus event. Leaked files show that a huge “Nexus” will form on the map, surrounded by Vaulted Items that are encased in a kind of crystal. A chair and desk are also present. There is a big orb in the middle of six ice pillars, and all of the pillars have an item inside. The items seen in the pillars are vaulted items, which are the Infinity Blade, Bouncers, Grapper, Tactical SMG, Drum Gun and the X4-Stormwing Plane.
It seems there will also be a voting system where players may be able to vote for one of these vaulted items to return. As above mentioned, choices appear to include the X-4 Stormwing, the Infinity Blade sword, and more.
At Loot Lake, there are six different monitors in one of the buildings and one of the monitors now shows Bouncers. As there are six monitors, it highly likely the other leaked items will also appear on the screen. The Nexus itself is thought to be the door of the Vault, where weapons and items go when they are removed from the game, either permanently or for rebalancing. It’s expected that players will be able to interact with the Nexus/Vault door to select a Vaulted Item that they want to permanently return. Votes for each item will then be tallied, with the winning choice (or choices) returning to the Battle Royale mode.
At the moment, Fortnite hasn’t confirm the new event and when the event will be live. However, when things like this show up the datamines, it usually means the event is right on the horizon. With this much showing up and with Loot Lake looking the way it does, it looks like we can expect this event sooner rather than later. In the meantime, we'll just have to pay attention to how the map changes going forward.
