Epic Games May Bring A New Chicken-Themed Skin Designed by A 8 Year-Old Child to Fortnite
Recently, something interesting came to Fortnite. It is said that Epic Games may adopted a skin designed by a 8 year-old child. The new skin is called “Tender Defender.” well, this a funny and dreamy story, which all started from a reddit post by a lucky child.
Around two months ago, u/tfoust10 on Reddit received a request from his 8-year-old son. His kid drew a picture of a skin he wanted the developers to add to Fortnite with the caption, “Dear Fortnite. Please add a skin in Fortnite called the Chicken Trooper.” He added parenthetically that he is “not good at drawing.” The parent went ahead and posted the drawing on Reddit. Since then, it has received more than 40,000 upvotes and over a thousand comments. The skin was later prettied up by redditor Etsyturtle2 and reimagined as Tender Defender. It seems that Epic Games may have taken the request seriously and bring the new skin to the game soon.
Here is the Evidence We Have That the Skin is On Its Way to Fortnite. The first is a screenshot of the Lonely Lodge Watchtower. Scattered across the floor are a number of large feathers which could have come from a giant chicken. Secondly, dataminer @FBR_Fortnitee on Twitter posted images of a skin called Tender Defender that looks exactly like Etsyturtle2’s drawing, glider and all.
Hopefully the new skin may come to Fortnite soon. After all, it is really inspiring to see a developer go out of its way to do something amazing for a child. What do you want to bet he grows up to become a game developer or goes into some other design field? And keep checking back mmocs.com. We will let you know once the skin gets added.
Epic quickly stepped in with a hotfix that reduced turret floor health from 5,000 to 1,000, and turret health from 800 to 400. As with all new items, the drop rate seemed pretty high, but this isn’ t the case anymore. It is said that the game developer has reduced the availability of the Mounted Turret in all default modes (Solo, Duos, Squads), and the new drop rate hasn’t been released out yet. Another new feature that's been confirmed for the update 6.30 is mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One, with select titles enabled at launch for Insiders and even more coming. In fact, Xbox One mouse and keyboard support were early announced during the recent XO18 event a couple of days before. For more on Fortnite, keep an eye on our website: mmocs.com.
