Epic Games will Soon Kick Off A Fortnite Fall Skirmish Event.
As Fortnite’s Summer Skirmish wrapped out very recently, earlier this week, Epic Games announced that it would kick off a Fortnite ‘s next seasonal competition, the Fortnite Fall Skirmish event on September 21. It seems that the Fall Skirmish would run for total of six weeks with 10 million dollars as awards.
Earlier in this summer, Epic Game launched the Fortnite Summer Skirmish event, a 8-week series of competitions, with a combined prize pool for 8 million dollars. Both the format and competitors will change in every week. The first event in the series begun on July 14,2018. The event took place at PAX West in Seattle.
The most unforgettable thing about the Summer Skirmish was the debilitating server lag, which is a bit of disaster for Epic. Although Epic has another seven week to fix the technical issues, for many players, this left a very bad impression on players and the game seemed to be kind of boring for them to carry on. Perhaps the most electrifying thing about the Summer Skirmish was to see dozens of players fighting in increasingly narrow and fraught situations on top of, next to and below one another in a absurd structure that you never see in a standard public match. If you want to upgrade your Fortnite weapons, Mmocs.com is one of the best websites for providing Cheap Fortnite Items.
There’s some tweaks to the kinds of play formats during the autumnal event. the Fall Skirmish introduces two new formats including Competitive and Entertainment play formats. During Fall Skirmish, players will proudly represent themed teams and earn points based on their performances in both play format. To make the game more inspiring and more competitive, each week will pose new challenges for players to complete. It sounds like the entertainment format will feature ATK races, golf competitions and mini-games. Of course, there will also be the same competitions you’ve come to see from the last tournament.
Epic Game says nearly five hundred Fortnite players took part in the Summer Skirmish event and they anticipate an increasing number of Fall Skirmish event. Although full details have not been revealed yet, we assume that the Fall Skirmish series will follow the established format of previous event and feature a number of well-known Fortnite players competing against each other across the different modes in each week. Hopefully, there won’t be any technical problems in the Fall Skirmish event. If you are going to participate in the upcoming fall skirmish and cash in, keep yourself tuned for the latest updates. More details about week 1 format will be revealed on September 20 and more details about the competitive format finale will be announced closer to Twitchcon. If you fancy yourself as a pro-Fortnite fighter, you can have a try in Showdown Royale. Fortnite: Battle Royale is available on multiple platforms including Xbox One, PS4, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch and PC.
