Following on from its successful first Halloween launch event last year, Epic Games keep the ball rolling by planning another Halloween event titled Fortnitemares this year. Recently, Epic Games has first released teasers of two photos along with short poems respectively on Twitters on October 20, confirming the release of the Fortnitemares event. The first teaser gave us a sneak peek at what looks like an upcoming outfit, while the second one showed a rune.

The first of two Fortnitemare related tweets contained an image of what we assume is a zombie cowboy, detailing what looks like a hint towards duo play. You can check the image above. We’ re unsure if this means you’ ll need to play with or against a friend in Battle Royale, or if there will be some in-game companions you can partner up with or be defeated by.Since the first teaser hints at ghouls, which makes some players believe that the Ghoul Trooper outfit will return to the in-game store. Maybe we can guess new outfits could be added to the event soon. Costumes and dancing,
Partner up, be wise.
They could be friendly,
Or a ghoul in disguise.

The next tweet is even more cryptic, as it included a rune on a purple fragment which may hint that the ground is going to be moving a lot again. The rune looks similar to the runes the purple cube left on the ground in season 5. So fans can’t help think that the floating island event and the Fortnitemares have something in common or maybe because some zombies will be paying the map a visit , so aiming and shooting is going to be a bit trickier. The caption for the second teaser was the following:

Tombstones quake,
Keep your finger steady.
The circle will close,
Better be ready.

“The circle will close” could allude to many things. There are two “circles” above and below the Floating Island, which looks to be summoning something from either direction. One of these could close shortly, revealing a new secret. Or, it could be something to do with the Battle Royale circle collapse; perhaps when a game ends at a certain time, something new will happen.

On October 22, Epic Games has released a third teaser for the upcoming 'Fortnitemares' event as well as start and end times.check the third teaser below.

Start time: Wednesday October 24th at 6 am (likely when the next patch goes live)
End time: Monday, November 26th at 7 pm (just as Season 6 winds down)

 

In a world, the Halloween event will kick off this Wednesday, October 24 and last through Monday, November 26. Epic Games promises "spooky rewards" for completing special Fortnitemares challenges, and uses a variation on the Season 6 theme, "Darkness has risen."
