On March 3, Epic Games teased that a brand-new item, named Buried Treasure, coming to Fortnite very soon. So far, not much information on the new item has been revealed. However, according to some dataminers, it seems that a potential location for one of the buried treasured has been found on the Season 8 map. In addition, over the last weekend, Fortnite Reflex skin was available in the Fortnite Item Shop for around 15 dollars for the first time. How Are The Buried Treasures Gonna Work?
 
To fit the pirate theme of Fortnite Season 8, Fortnite constantly brings us pirate-y items to keep players interested. We’ve already got pirate cannon. Now, Fortnite is bring us with another new items, Buried Treasures along with Treasure maps to Battle Royale.Here's the in-game description:
 
“Scour the island for hidden loot with the new buried treasure item!”
 
So, we guess that here’s how the new item is going to work: the buried treasure may be coded as loot llama, when help you find a nice cache of loot. Alternatively, it will be something like the gold-tier items found in the presents back during the Christmas event.
 
So far, the release date of the buried treasures hasn’t been confirmed yet. It should be out in this week.
