A new content update for Fortnite is on the way. The update is slated to roll out for all platforms--PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile--on Tuesday, August 14, and it appears it will introduce yet another new weapon to the game's ever-expanding arsenal. It’s an off week for Fortnite patches, but patch v5.21 is a little more than the normal content updates we’re used to. In fact, its main addition was to fix a gap in what was already in the game. Epic has made another update to Fortnite, this time introducing the long-awaited Heavy Sniper Rifle.
According to Fortnite's in-game New Updates feed, a new type of sniper rifle called the Heavy Sniper will debut soon. Details about the gun are scant at the moment, but the accompanying description reveals it is an Epic and Legendary gun that is "capable of dealing high damage to structures." The new heavy sniper rifle fills in the need for a high-end weapon in the sniper category as well as a ranged building destroyer.
Fortnite Battle Royale’s newest gun is a massive sniper rifle that only comes in epic and legendary rarity, which is good because it does a lot of damage. Each shot from the new gun does 150 or 157 damage — depending on rarity. On top of that, the weapon’s bullets can destroy any wall in the game in just a single shot. This new sniper rifle can be found in any normal loot spot, including floor loot and chests, and features significantly less bullet drop than other sniper rifles in Fortnite. The gun is also making it’s debut in Sniper Shootout, which is returning this week with the heavy sniper rifle replacing the old Scoped AR in the mode.
The feed also reveals that this is the last chance players have to take part in Fortnite's latest limited-time mode, Steady Storm, which kicked off alongside the release of last week's 5.20 update. Steady Storm features one storm that continuously closes in on the island over the course of the entire match and has no safe zones, so players will have to stay on the move and keep track of the storm on the map in order to survive.
The aforementioned 5.20 update also introduced a new weapon to Battle Royale: the Double Barrel Shotgun, a powerful type of close-range gun that "packs a punch with each of its 2 shots." Fortnite's paid Save the World mode, meanwhile, received new hero: Ragnarok, the Dark Viking.
The rifle deals a mighty 157 points of damage to players, but its primary focus seems to be as an anti-building weapon, as it dishes out a whopping 1100 points to structures. This comes at a cost of a relatively lengthy reload time, but it's still a formidable weapon. Also, for its intimidating damage that it can create, you can image that the price of it will not be low to much. But don’t worry. The Cheap Fortnite Items are provided in mmocs.com with guaranteed refund and fast transaction. By the way, the unprecedented discount is provided now!
Intriguingly, alongside the rifle’s addition, Epic has removed scopes for assault rifles. This suggests it’s trying to widen the gap between play styles, forcing players to choose between long-range weapons with slow firing rates, and short-range weapons with faster firing rates.
More updates will be concerned by mmocs.com. So if you want to know the newest information about Fortnite, it is a good choice for you come to mmocs.com.
