Tartaglia, also known as “Childe,” is a new 5-star character in Genshin Impact, which was first introduced in update 1.1. Here are some tips and tricks on how to defeat him.

 
 

Genshin Impact: Defeating Childe/Tartaglia
The reason I mentioned “later encounters” is that Childe/Tartaglia becomes a weekly boss after you’ve finished “A New Star Approaches.” Indeed, he joins Stormterror and Andrius as part of Genshin Impact‘s toughest challenges. However, compared to those two, Childe’s abilities are so unpredictable that you’ll want to be ready for anything he throws your way.
 
Unlike almost any other boss, Childe seems ok with a fight that drags on. This is to say there is no time limit on the fight or any super-powerful attacks that come out if you take too long at chipping down his health bar. Without time pressure, you can focus on dodging and even revive multiple characters across the fight if you mess up and get hit too much.
 
Use Diluc. Good luck getting him though, he is one of the most popular and coveted characters for a reason. When he is fully leveled and equipped, he has some of the best DPS in the game. With him in the party, players will find the fight to be easier, though they will still need to wary of Tartaglia's attacks and use the strategies above to win. It is possible to beat Tartaglia with characters gained through the story, such as Amber and Kaeya, but it will be more challenging than with higher-tier characters.

Weapons
·The Stringless: This bow develops Tartaglia's Hydro power, making it a great Elemental DPS bow. It increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst damage by 24 percent, doubling to 48 percent when fully upgraded. It packs a serious punch and can make Tartaglia even more unstoppable.
·Rust: This bow is more about physical damage over Hydro and is a decent alternative. It gives a boost to the Normal Shot, but at a slight cost to the Aimed Shot.
 
Artifact
Noblesse Oblige: 2-parts: Elemental Burst damage increased by 20 percent. 4-parts: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members' Attack stat by 20 percent for 12 seconds, but this effect cannot stack.
