Fortnite Halloween Event
2018-11-02 08:55:29
The spooky, Halloween-themed Fortnite event, Fortnitemares is now available in both the Battle Royale and Save The World modes. You don’t have to be a Battle Pass holder to take part in the event. In the former, the Halloween event release a set of bonus challenges. By completing the various challenges, players can unlock Halloween-themed cosmetic items and XP. At the moment, all four sets of Fortnitemares challenges have been released, and you've got a limited time to complete them all to get some spooky rewards. Among those challenges, Part one contains four challenges, including one that tasks players with dancing in front of five different Gargoyles.
As shown in the video, one of the Gargoyles can be found west of Lazy Links inside the Umbrella mine, while another is in the Tomato Temple courtyard. Needless to say, there's also a Gargoyle in the castle at Haunted Hills. There's one in the basement of a house in Retail Row, and a final Gargoyle in the Viking village. Besides, you can also find one in Viking Village that's south-east of Snobby Shores, inside the ground floor of the large hall on the north of the site. On the top of the huge mountain north of Flush Factory appears the Gargyole as well. The Gargoyles locations aren't the easiest to find, but they do play a little tune (it sounds like a spooky music box) when you get close. Once you find one, it's time to dance.
The Fortnite Halloween event was introduced on October 23 in update 6.20, the event lasts until early November and introduces a new PvP mode that meshes both Fortnite's popular Battle Royale and original Save The World. We’ve already know the first set of four challenges, and a second set of four challenges will be released in three days, followed by further challenges in five days and seven days. According to the latest Fortnite news, Epic has announced Aa delay in the 6.21 update for Fortnite. Originally scheduled for launch yesterday, October 31, the update has been postponed to November 1. According to Epic, the delay is a result of a "last minute issue" discovered in Fortnite's new build. So players can receive the patch notes soon today.
