How to Get All the Great Swords of Light in the Elden Ring DLC Expansion
Several new weapons appear in Elden Ring's new DLC expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, and the Great Sword of Light represents a sword with endless uses. When using these weapons, you can expect the powerful range of a great sword, but the blade power will not drop significantly, but instead feel relatively light and not much different from what you expect from a rapier. The Great Swords of Light are also good at chaining combos, making them perfect for melee-tarnished looking for something new.
Of course, if you can't wait to get your hands on the weapons in the game, we also have a weapons sale service for Elden Ring, where Cheap Elden Ring Armor, shields, amulets, ammunition, and more are all on sale. For the new DLC expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, several new weapons appear, and below I'll tell you how to find each Great Sword of Light, and which one is the best.
There are three Great Swords of Light in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Eritrea.
Milady
Leda's Sword
Rellana's Twin Blades
Below we'll go into detail about all three swords and how to obtain them.
Milady
This is an elegant sword that's perfect for introducing new players to the strengths of the Light Greatsword weapon class.
You can find Milady in a chest on the outer wall of Ensis Castle, one of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's legacy dungeons, shortly after entering Shadowlands. From the start of the Graceland in Gravest Plains, cross the Ensis Bridge to the Graceland in front of the castle. Fight the Troll Knight along the bridge, and once you've successfully defeated them, turn left and go up the stairs to the base of the tower. Climb the ladder and you can loot the chest containing Milady.
The Milady is a great weapon to use inside the castle - test its excellent range on the Knights wandering nearby, and pair it with the new Winged War-Gray that can only be used with Light Greatswords. With this combination, you can quickly perform three slashes (great for inflicting bleeding) or perform a devastating stabbing.
Leda's Sword
Leda's Sword is a perfect weapon for a mixed faith/quality build, dealing a decent amount of holy damage with every swing.
Leda's Sword is a unique light greatsword that differs from Milady in two main ways: its unique skill, and the fact that it deals holy damage as well as physical damage.
You can obtain Leda's Sword by defeating Leda in combat. There are a few different opportunities to do this during Leda's questline. Once Miquela's amulet is destroyed (which happens when you explore outside Scadu Altus), continue Leda's quest to see how she clears out the unworthy. Here are your chances of getting Leda's Sword from her:
Fight Leda outside Shadowkeep with Hornsent.
Fight Leda in a warehouse with Ansbach.
Defeat Leda in Einir-Ilium.
Any of these options will result in Leda leaving with her sword. Its signature skill, Needler, is a powerful single-target holy attack, and the holy damage makes it an obvious choice for high-faith builds who want to use the grace and powerful moves of a greatsword of light.
Rellana's Twin Blades
Rellana's Twin Blades is our pick for the best greatsword of light in the Elden Ring DLC. Technically, this weapon is two swords, not one, but the game classifies it as a greatsword of light.
Rellana's Twin Blades are available after defeating the boss Rellana in Ensis Castle. You'll need to do this to enter Scadu Altus, of course, and once Rellana is gone, you can trade the Twin Moon Knights' memories with Enia in the Castle of the Round Table to get the pair of swords.
Rellana's Twin Blades are impressive incarnations of moonfire, with both swords imbued with fire and magic damage. Your power attacks burst out waves of flame, while your light attacks send arcs of glitterstone at your enemies. The versatility of this Great Sword of Light earns it a spot at the top of our list of the best weapons in Shadows of Elden Ring, and if you specialize in an Intelligence/Faith build, you can't go wrong with this weapon. Dual wielders can even wield Lelana's Great Sword in one hand and another Great Sword of Light, like Milady, in the other for extremely powerful damage and versatility.
That's all there is to know about the Great Sword of Light in Elden Ring: Shadows of Elden Ring.
