Perseverance [Passive][Innate]
The Perseverance is the innate skill of Garen, provide extra HP regeneration(0.8 per half-second) for themselves if have haven’t been attacked by opponents during last 4 second. When their HP is below half, the regeneration rate boosts to 1.6% every half-second. Perseverance endows you with the ability of quick recovery, given the premise of you are survived from the siege. Once you get rid of enemies’ assault, their wasted all the previous efforts.
Notice: That isn’t a combat skill, it’s just an assistant skill that effective when you are safe.
 
Decisive Strike [Active]
▪ Clear all slowdown buffs on Garen
▪ Increase Garen’s movement speed by 30%
▪ Increase Garen’s ATK by 40% for 4.5s
▪ Silence targets for 1.5s
When the Decisive Strike activated, Garen is under a state of rage, possesses great movability and attack. Focus on ranged fragile enemies or retreating heroes to deliver the lethal attacks to end their life.
Notice: this skill can be always used to escape for its 8 second cooldown.
 


Courage [Active]
▪ Reduce 60% damages for 0.75s, and 30% for the surplus 5.25s
▪ provide up to 30 armor&magic resistance by farming
This skill can be treated into two parts. The first is an active protective skill that keeps Garen away from damages, the second effect is permanent effective that provide 30 resistance to both physical and magical damages. Due to 60% resistance just lasts for 0.75s, you ought to manage your cooldown and notice enemies’ action, activate this skill once your opponent is about to cast spells.
 
Judgment [Active]
▪ Deals AoE physical damages to nearby enemies
▪ Garen cannot basic attack during the casting process
This skill also triggers Critical attacks. The best time to use the skill is when your enemies are all together within narrow space, or follow the Decisive Strike.
 


Demacian Justice [Active]
▪ Deals 525 magical damage to the target
▪ Targets suffers 140% damages
If there’s a weak enemy nearby Garen, his destiny is only death. When target’s HP decreased, this skill deals more damages to it. Although the skill’s direct damage is only 525, but if it cast to a weak foe, the damage can be doubled or even tripled finally.
 
Garen is a powerful and annoying tank, but short in basic attack. Protect yourself from losing too much HP in initial stage. Gank and seckill isolated enemies with your partners, and act as the main tank to charge into the enemy lines when in group battle.
