There’re total 19 ascendancy classes in Path of Exile, each features its own set of spells and gameplay style. As the advanced edition of Templar, Inquisitor, Hierophant, and Guardian provide three different ways for gamers to make the class professional in offense, defense, and supportive passives.
 

PoE 3.1 Templar Hierophant Build

The Hierophant deals massive damage in unconventional methods rather than in a straightforward way. They can exert totems effectively, and have the ability to summon 2 additional totems, at the cost of less damage per totem. Build can be played as quad totem Hierophant using evasion and ES regeneration or a molten strike scion with vaal pact and leech. I find quad totems smoother then I trying to get into melee range all the time. Abyss jewels flooding the market has made it really easy to get good jewels of both normal and Abyss variety. The build gets heaps of jewel sockets to take advantage of this and there are piles of really good and common combinations

Gameplay
Quad totem has a drop and move playstyle and lets you loot while the totems kill the things spawning from boxes or Abyss cracks. Melee DPS numbers are only active while you are actually attacking but I like that totems keep damaging even while positioning and doing other things. Words cannot describe how much smoother 4 totems feel over 2. I rush it as my first goal even though it does make me considerably squishier since then I don't get the big ES boost from Sanctuary of Thought until uber lab.
 

PoE 3.1 Templar Guardian Build

 
Guardians are a powerful build for tank/support Templars dedicated in possessing passives with an emphasis on enhancing and protecting a party.
 
This is a self-cast, reflect-immune, tanky build that also deals good damage. This is not a 7M DPS speedy glass cannon build. If that's what you want, exit this thread right now. This build is meant to be able to do all content while also leveling and not abusing broken mechanics. Yes, this build is in standard, and yes it includes GG gear. Low life builds are not budget builds. I love life builds, but I feel that LLRF Templar Guardian Build will always be superior to RF life builds when talking about a harmonious blend of damage and survivability of RF.
 

PoE 3.1 Templar Inquisitor Build

 
Inquisitors focus on elemental spells. They are specialized in casting critical attacks, elemental penetration or buffing themselves with consecrated ground. Most of skills or Inquisitor are compatible with both attacks and spells.
 
This Templar Inquisitor build is made to perfectly curve out pretty much from the first level to the absolute endgame. It was made to be an well-rounded build. I picked up many ideas from popular other builds on other classes and incorporated them into the very strong foundation of the Inquisitor ascendancy class. This build has almost no limitations. For instance, it can kill "The Shaper" on a 3L setup and with a white level 0 claw.
