As with Gridlock, she is a high armor, low movement speed Operator, equipped with deployable proximity-based "red web tracker" gadgets. Once triggered, these devices will damage foes and alert nearby allies. Her unique ability is the Trax Stinger trap. When enemies step on them, the Trax Stingers will deal damage and slow the enemy.
As with Mozzi, he is a medium armor and medium speed operator, with a deployable drone-hacking gadget. Once offensive drones enter its radius, the Operator gains control and repurposes them for defensive use. Mozzie’s unique ability is the Pest Launcher. This launcher sends out Pests that attach themselves to enemy remote control drones, taking them over for Mozzie’s personal use.
Then we get to the new map, Outback. On the new map, we see the same level of complexity and depth that we've come to expect from Ubisoft. Specifically, the map is an evacuated roadside station with three distinct sections. As you can see, there are plenty of entry points litter the walls. the L-shaped building can be separated into three parts: garage, restaurant, and motel. Each area are marked with different colour themes and decorated with a lot of distinct landmarks, which makes everything more accessible in terms of navigation and callouts.
Newcomer Playlist
To help ease newer players into Siege, Operation Burnt Horizon offers a Newcomer playlist to players under level 50. The Newcomer playlist features features the bomb game mode played on three maps: Bank, Consulate, and Chalet to help them learn the basics of Rainbow Six Siege. In addition, there are also some changes made to the Casual and Ranked playlists to better clarify their intended use. The Casual playlist has been updated to improve the transition between Newcomer and Ranked play.
That is all you need to know about Operation Burnt Horizon. Aside from Operation Burnt Horizon, the latest R6 patch note also brings new weapon skins, an Elite skin for Hibana, and balancing tweaks. For example, reverse friendly fire has been activated, a rework of movements: crouch and lean spam and so on.
