The Fortnite Cube, which has been rolling around the map for the last several weeks, has finally come to what looks like its final resting place inside of Loot Lake. It had long been rumoured that the Fortnite cube would turn Loot Lake into a river of lava and spawn a volcano once it arrived there. But instead, the Fortnite cube did what no one had predicted melt into Loot Lake and turn it into a big, purple bouncy area.
 
As shown in the video below, the slow march of the cube saw its next roll send it into the lake. As this happens, Loot Lake begins to turn purple, and it now has the same bounce properties the cube itself did. The infamous purple Cube fell into Loot Lake around 4 p.m. EDT and was immediately submerged in the water. As the nefarious shape began to sink, purple smoke emerged from the surface. After rolling through Tilted Towers this morning, destroying the new building it's taken all season to erect, the Cube sat at the edge of the dock on the west of Loot Lake.
