Been published in 1997, the game has already featured PvP and PvE gameplay.
The Game was developed by several student in Regensburg University on January 7, 1997. After several days waiting, the game finally welcomed its first player. In 1999, the game has 150 adventurous players. The game survived from the siege of Diablo, Grand Theft Auto, and some other hot video games. Till now, the game provides two ways to start the game: web page, and client.
If you want to communicate with NPCs, you need to type words! And one NPC can only serve one player at a moment, viz, you need to wait the last player to complete his dialogue with the NPC. Sometimes players even lined up around a NPC. But that system has been rewrote now. One more thing that astonishing: Tibia doesn’t has sound, no matter effect sound or background music. So you can imagine how old the game was. But the gameplays of it is as abundant as any other online video game, so there’re still so many fans playing Tibia.
Winter Patch Note of Tibia
1. Three new war zones will be implemented. Players who finished the Bigfoot’s Burden Quest, can receive an extra reputation reward.
2. Mainline story and quests get expanded, and new hunting places added.
3. The UI windows position can be fixed to where you closed recently.
4. All kinds of mobs you killed will be countered on the Killing in the Name of … Quest.
5. New charms, quests, achievements, outfits, mounts, NPCs, mobs, bosses, items, added in Tibia.
